Firework Update

Thanks to all those who attended the Churchdown Firework Extravaganza. It was  very well attended despite the poor weather. We had extra fair rides this year and an excellent display of Fireworks supplied by Sandling Fireworks. Thanks go, not only to our sponsors and ticket sellers, but to all the volunteers who worked before and on the night, especially the Air Cadets who did a great job on the night.

Diamond Jubilee 2012

The Queen inspects the Royal Guard

To mark 60 years of the Queen’s reign the Diamond Jubilee will take place in 2012. The celebrations will centre around an extended weekend in 2012 on 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th June.

Invites expressions of interest for the construction of wildlife ponds, stormwater swale, reedbeds, landscaping and paths at Churchdown Park, Churchdown, Gloucester.

Suppliers will be required to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire.

Closing date for Expressions of Interest is 12 noon on Friday, 13th January 2012
